The Smith Creek Village locale of Silver Falls State Park has long been one of Oregon’s favorite places to meet and gather with loved ones and colleagues, and is a space that harbors memories + nostalgia for many people of Oregon.

Formerly known as the Silver Falls Lodge and Conference Center, the historic buildings and services were closed after a series of unfortunate events in 2020 + the pandemic, followed by a change in the concessions operations + venue management. After a lengthy and unsure season, in early May of 2021, a new contract was awarded by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department to a new local company called Silver Falls Hospitality, a small community oriented business + team of innovative and dedicated workers.

Just 35 minutes east of Oregon's capital, Salem, 1.5 hours south of Portland International Airport and 20 minutes south of Silverton, Silver Falls State Park is the ideal staycation. It's easily accessible, yet sufficiently secluded to allow for productive + organized meetings, intimate gatherings, and restorative unplugged outings.

Best known for its many waterfalls, Silver Falls State Park features 35 miles of trails, including the renowned Trail of Ten Falls, a National Recreation Trail. Situated in a temperate and heavily wooded rain forest, the park offers leisure appeals for mountain bicyclists, a diverse range of photographers, families with doggos, wildlife seekers, and new outdoor enthusiasts alike.

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

“Perfect little cabin in the woods for our stay at Silver Falls. It had all we needed - shower, coffee maker, microwave and fridge! It was quiet and peaceful. And, despite warnings about WiFi reliability, I was able to use the wifi to create a hotspot on my phone that I used to attend an important Zoom meeting on my laptop. All good!”

-Loree,

Signature Glamping Stay guest

"We absolutely LOVED the cabin. Location was perfect, quiet, scenic, and easy to get to. The Silver Falls team was super communicative. The fact we scored a cabin on labor day weekend was pure fate. The restaurant has the best food, great local coffee, and the staff was super helpful. Check-in was a breeze. Access to trails were right outside our door. We loved the vibe of the village with the community bonfires at night. Seriously my favorite place I've stayed."

-Kelly,

former Tiny Cabin guest

“We love this place so much that we cannot stop booking stays here! This was our second time here, and we're coming back in a month with family! Cannot say enough good things about this place, including the staff. They're great with pets, too. We will never stop coming to these cottages and cabins!”
